by learning about podcasts
Step
1: Test that your computers sound playback
and recording are working.
Step
2: You need to download and install listening software.
- For
Apple Computers you can use iTunes. Click here
to down load.
- For
PC users we recommend iPodder. Click here
to download it for free.
Step
3: Setting up Subscriptions/Feeds. Subscriptions or feeds
are direct connections to podcast feeds (eg like an address ) which
iPodder or itunes updates when you click the refresh button for that
feed. Create a new subscription feed to Kidcasts by entering the address
as shown next to the orange RSS button (above right)
Step
4: Download the podcast and listen to it.
- In iPodder
> preferences select your media player.
- In iPodder,
click the download tab, and wait for the download (broadband is a
must here).
- Click
the green play button (to the left of each item) and iPodder will
open media player for you to listen and enjoy
